About the Role
The Oasis of Norton Shores is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Marketing Director to lead our census development, community outreach, and sales initiatives. In this role, you will be the primary ambassador of our community—connecting with seniors and their families, educating referral sources, and guiding prospective residents through every step of their transition into our care.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Sales Execution: Oversee the full sales cycle—from initial inquiry and discovery calls to leading community tours and securing move-ins.
- Community Outreach & Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong referral networks with local hospitals, physicians, rehabilitation centers, discharge planners, social workers, and civic organizations across the Greater Muskegon and West Michigan areas.
- Inquiry Management & Follow-Up: Manage incoming inquiries promptly, maintain detailed records in the community CRM, and execute structured follow-up cadences.
- Marketing Strategy & Events: Plan and host on-site events, educational seminars, open houses, and professional networking functions to increase visibility and drive qualified leads.
- Admissions Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Executive Director, Director of Nursing, and interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth, compassionate resident assessments and move-in transitions.
- Market Analysis: Monitor local competitive trends, occupancy rates, pricing, and market conditions to adjust sales tactics and strategic plans accordingly.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2–4+ years of successful sales, marketing, or admissions experience, preferably within assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, or senior healthcare services.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, and written communication skills; comfortable speaking publicly and meeting one-on-one with families facing difficult decisions.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience utilizing sales CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Enquire, WelcomeHome), Microsoft Office Suite, and digital marketing/social media platforms.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, compassionate, and skilled at consultative relationship selling.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with state licensing requirements.
